Leica has officially announced the Summicron-M 66mm F/2, a limited-edition rangefinder lens based on a rare and historically important optic from the Cold War era. The announcement follows earlier reports revealing the existence of the unusual 66mm lens.

According to a new report from Sony Alpha Rumors, NiSi is developing the 26mm F/0.7 prime lens. There is an additional report from news outlet ProNews, which says NiSi showcased the lens at the recent Beijing International Radio, Film, and Television Exhibition.
