According to new rumors, the company is developing the Insta360 Z One, a compact Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera with an interchangeable lens mount. Reports of a traditional camera from Insta360 have circulated for several months, and the latest leak offers what could be the clearest picture yet of the company’s ambitions.

Canon may soon join the growing list of camera makers embracing retro-inspired designs. According to new rumors, the company is developing a vintage-styled full-frame mirrorless camera that blends classic film-camera aesthetics with modern imaging technology. If the reports prove accurate, Sony would become the only major camera manufacturer without a retro-themed interchangeable-lens camera in its lineup.

Tamron has officially announced the 12-20mm F/2.8, a fast ultra-wide zoom lens designed for full-frame Sony E and Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. Alongside its exceptionally wide 12mm focal length, the lens also introduces a refreshed exterior design and a simplified naming convention for the company’s latest generation of lenses.

Viltrox has expanded its growing lineup of compact prime lenses with the new AF 26mm F/2.8 EVO. The lightweight pancake lens is designed for full-frame Sony E and Nikon Z mirrorless cameras, offering a bright aperture and autofocus in an ultra-portable package. According to a new report, the Schneider Kreuznach × LK Samyang AF 60-180mm F/2.8 will arrive for the Leica L mount this August. According to Leica Rumors, the compact telephoto zoom will expand beyond its current Sony E-mount availability, giving users of Leica, Panasonic, Sigma, and other L-Mount Alliance cameras access to Samyang’s latest professional zoom lens.

Huawei has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones globally after debuting the Pura 90s series in China. The lineup brings several notable improvements, including upgraded camera systems, 5G connectivity, and enhanced display technology. The global lineup consists of the Huawei Pura 90s Pro and Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max, with the latter offering the company’s most advanced mobile photography features. Evoto has released Evoto Desktop version 7.1.0 for Windows and macOS (March 31, 2026), expanding its AI-assisted editing line with a feature aimed at portrait, school, sports, and high-volume studio work. The centrepiece is AI Scene, which isolates the subject, swaps in catalogue or custom backgrounds, stacks foreground elements, and outputs a finished composite without a full manual layer build in another editor.

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed $25,000 fines against eight companies that allegedly failed to respond to inquiries regarding DJI-related wireless products sold in the United States. The agency is investigating whether the companies imported or marketed drones, cameras, and other wireless devices based on DJI technology under different brand names.
