Title: Matrix-product state skeletons in Onsager-integrable quantum chains Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss how skeletons of matrix-product-state-solvable models underlie the phase diagrams of Onsager-integrable chiral clock models. I will demonstrate how to construct these MPS skeletons using the Onsager algebra in gapped phases. Moreover, the skeleton is dense, meaning that a point along the skeleton approximates an arbitrary gapped Hamiltonian in the phase diagram.

Professor Chris Gale has been named as a Research Delivery Leader as part of the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) leadership prizes, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to health and care research. People living with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in England face markedly different risks depending on their sex, income, ethnicity and where they live, with inequalities showing little improvement since 2019, according to a large population study covering more than five years of health records. Led by researchers from Imperial College London, the study examined national primary-care and linked hospital and mortality data from November 2019 to March 2025.
