As part of a day of global solidarity to save the life of Palestinian doctor Dr. Abu Safiya, there will be an action at the UC Regents meeting at the Mission Bay. You can sign up to speak at the Regents meeting. The Regents have taken action to stop Palestinian action and terminating faculty and staff who have challenged the genocide in Gaza. Healthcare workers will rally at the Mission Bay between 8AM and 11AM and healthcare workers will speak out at the UC Regents meeting during public comment.

AI Protest at Three Corporate Locations
Photos: Leon Kunstenaar (San Franicsco, July 11) – Organized by “Stop AI” hundreds of people, many from the tech industry, marched and rallied at the locations of OpenAI, Anthropic and Deep Mind. Large banners demanded “STOP THE AI RACE”, “QUIT GPT”, “AI IS NOT INEVITABLE. A sign proclaimed “if no one builds it, it does not get built.” With youthful honesty, a sign proclaimed the general view regarding AI with “Fuck This Shit.” The action was highly organized. A van was there with refreshments.
Felony charges brought against 47 animal rights activists after Ridglan Farms raid
Dozens of animal rights activists involved in a raid on a Dane County animal breeding facility have been charged with burglary, property damage and theft — felony charges which could lead to years in prison and thousands of dollars in fines. In all, 47 people were charged in connection with the March 15 action at Ridglan Farms in Blue Mounds, in which activists broke into the facility and took 22 beagles who had been bred for biomedical research.
Deal struck for Ridglan Farms shutdown, transfer of remaining dogs
June 15, 2026 The beagle breeding and research facility Ridglan Farms is set to shut down this summer after an animal welfare group takes custody of the facility’s remaining dogs. Big Dog Ranch Rescue announced Monday that it had purchased hundreds more dogs from Ridglan Farms, a facility based in Blue Mounds, southwest of Madison. “This marks a historic victory for the dogs of Ridglan Farms,” Big Dog Ranch Rescue CEO Lauree Simmons said at a news conference.
