A new AI capability that delivers analysis-ready Media Intelligence. More than just a product launch, this is a shift in how communications teams monitor, understand and act on media coverage.
Inside Quantum Technology is the first company to be dedicated to meeting the strategic information and analysis needs of the emerging quantum technology sector. Our reports provide market projections, strategic profiles of key firms in the quantum technology space and assessments of where the money will be made in quantum technology. Our custom consulting provides guidance when clients need more detailed than can be provided in an off-the-shelf report. We provide a lot more than just data dumps from the Internet. Our offerings complement internal product and market planning and technology roadmapping. Inside Quantum Technology also offers due diligence services to the financial community. Source
...and missed opportunities.... By Brian Siegelwax posted 05 Jun 2026 I read the University of Osaka’s “Cobalt honeycombs open a new path to quantum computing” and somehow realized that IBM’s old heavy hex topology resembled honeycombs. With its bird-named quantum computers, bee branding, and honeycomb-like topology, we should’ve been telling dad jokes about the birds and the bees.
By Sandra Helsel posted 03 Jun 2026 Welcome to the Inaugural issue of IQT’s Quantum Chemical and Life Science News Watch this weekly space to read the latest news updates about developments in quantum chemical and quantum life science/biopharma sectors. IQT News will provide news from leading media platforms: IQT will survey publications, LinkedIn, X, YouTube to provide links giving you insight into both quantum chemistry and quantum life science/biopharma.
Infleqtion's "Sqale" Neutral Atom Quantum Computer By Brian Siegelwax posted 03 Jun 2026 Infleqtion recently announced that it had delivered a 100-qubit neutral atom quantum computer to the UK’s National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC), which caught me by surprise because Infleqtion had already delivered a 256-atom system to the same NQCC back in 2024. Why would they celebrate delivering a smaller system? Physically, Infleqtion delivered a 256-atom analog system back in 2024. Key word: analog.

For Your Consideration: Absurd Juxtaposition By Brian Siegelwax posted 29 May 2026 Dr. Daniel Manzano quantified the “publish-or-perish” problem in quant-ph. To help finally put an end to it, The Quantum Dragon opened up a factory of autopens to churn out AI slop, in crayon, en masse. He’s going to hire offshore workers to convert them to LaTeX and upload them to arXiv. He promises to stop when y’all do.
...but we didn't have an SBQuantum magnetometer and geomagnetic map with us. By Brian Siegelwax posted 27 May 2026 When you’re trying to navigate somewhere with a map or some kind of visual imagery, the first thing you need to do is to orient it. You need to find landmarks around you, find them on the map/image, and then make sure that magnetic north on your compass matches magnetic north on the map/image.
Keep your QPUs calibrated and optimized. By Brian Siegelwax posted 26 May 2026 I found The Quantum Dragon up on a lighthouse, tracking ships as they proceeded inbound and outbound from a harbor. Of all the things I’ve caught him doing, that’s a peculiar activity for a fire-breathing dragon.
For Your Consideration: The Quantum Squirrel By Brian Siegelwax posted 22 May 2026 Inspired by his godfather, Dr. Bob Sutor, The Quantum Dragon is thrilled to introduce you to The Quantum Squirrel. The next time you think someone might ask you a question about your technology that will be too embarrassing to answer, just make sure The Quantum Squirrel is strategically waiting nearby.
What WAS the monolith anyway? By Brian Siegelwax posted 20 May 2026 My conversation with Delta Gold Technologies was probably the first time I’ve been left without a basic understanding of the technology in question. That’s not to say that I always “get it” on the first try, but I always get enough to at least write a draft article, which I then submit for review and fix what I need to fix.
A Not-So-Bold Prediction By Brian Siegelwax posted 15 May 2026 An email from HQI, France’s Hybrid HPC Quantum Initiative, noted that GENCI has acquired a “Ruby” neutral atom quantum computer from France-based Pasqal and a “Lucy” photonic quantum computer from France-based Quandela, and that it is now bidding out a cat qubit quantum computer. Gee, who could the winner possibly be?
