Fast & Furious: Supercharged has taken its final ride at Universal Studios Florida. The attraction officially closed on August 17, 2026, with Sunday, August 16 serving as its final day of operation. Guests ventured out to the park to pay their final respects to the attraction throughout the day for one last chance to join Dom and the Fast crew, while Annual Passholders were given a little extra time to say goodbye during UOAP Passholder Nights later that evening.

Passholder Appreciation Days celebrates Universal’s Passholders with extra perks and benefits, including dedicated entrances and lines, exclusive menu items and merchandise, and extra savings.

If it’s August, that means it’s time for the one-two punch of Knott’s Scary Farm announcements. The first is the teasing at Midsummer Scream, which is what we’re covering today. They announced which mazes will be celebrating their final season with us and provided an update to one of the scare zones. The first of two new mazes retiring after this year is Origins. Origins was one of the last mazes Jon Cooke worked on, and it debuted in 2019 to warm reception.

Nathan the CatLady moderated the 13th Floor panel at Midsummer Scream this year, covering four of their Halloween events around Southern California. While nothing new was mentioned, The Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns is returning this year to the South Coast Botanic Gardens, where it was recently relocated. Affectionately described as a palate cleanser, it’s easily the most family-friendly attraction of the bunch. We attended last year and loved it.

The Gray Ghost is celebrating 13 years of hosting Dark Harbor, and just across the port at the Long Beach Convention Center, the people of the coincidentally named 13th Floor Entertainment detailed everything going on this year. One thing is certain: the Queen Mary hasn’t been idle. Even during the off-season, 13th Floor has introduced a year-round escape room aboard the ship and held smaller haunt events in the spring, all aimed at expanding the lore of the Queen Mary and its numerous curses.

Over the weekend, Mike Ostrom and Mark Wing sat down at Midsummer Scream to lay out everything happening with Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain this year. They can be seen here in their seasonally appropriate looks. In lighter news, they mentioned that Tricks And Treats is returning for its second year, this time with a new Halloween show in the newly revamped Looney Tunes Land. Without wasting much more time, they detailed what would not be returning this year.

Halloween Horror Nights Creative Director and Executive Producer John Murdy took the stage at Midsummer Scream this past weekend, offering fans a closer look at what’s coming to Universal Studios Hollywood for Halloween Horror Nights 2026.

Universal Orlando is extending the Halloween Horror Nights experience beyond Universal Studios Florida this fall with a variety of limited-time offerings at its resort hotels. Select hotels will feature specially themed lounges inspired by Halloween Horror Nights, while bars across Universal Orlando’s hotel portfolio will offer specialty seasonal cocktails. Select locations will also serve late-night food options for guests returning from an evening at the event.

Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating its Pass Members with another round of Pass Member Appreciation Days from August 15 to September 30, 2026. Annual and Season Pass members are encouraged to take advantage of the limited-time offers available just for them, redeemable by simply showing their pass to a team member at any participating location.

This is the last chance to experience Fast & Furious: Supercharged, as the attraction is set to close Aug 17, 2026, meaning Aug 16 is the last day to ride the polarizing attraction. Guests who have reserved a spot for Passholder Nights will have the chance to be among the last to ride, as Universal confirmed the attraction will be open for the special event.
