Participation in this course will give you the tools needed to deliver thoughtful, engaging, and historically accurate lessons on contemporary antisemitism for students.

Full course description In this dynamic online course, educators examine the pursuit of justice at Nuremberg, the effect the trials had on our understanding of the Holocaust, how survivors coped with the trauma to build new lives in its aftermath, and how we remember and memorialize the Holocaust today. How did the world respond when the reality of the Holocaust came to light? How can we learn from the international response to crimes against humanity in interpreting memory and history?

This course will deepen student understanding of the Holocaust through The U.S. and the Holocaust, a film by Ken Burns, Lynn Novick & Sarah Botstein, examining America's response to one of the greatest humanitarian crises of the twentieth century and its role in World War II.
