Sweco has been awarded a framework agreement by a Water Board consisting of four water authorities in the southwestern delta region of the Netherlands. The agreement will run from 2026 to 2030, with options for a further two years, and an estimated value of approximately SEK144 million for Sweco. Aecon has announced that TRA has been awarded a multibillion-dollar contract by Greenlight Electricity Centre Limited Partnership for the Greenlight Electricity Centre project in Sturgeon County, Alberta. TRA is a consortium with Técnicas Reunidas Alberta, in which Aecon holds a majority share, and the partnership is comprised of Pembina Pipeline Corporation, Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners and Kineticor Asset Management.

The first of 12 trains for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport Line has arrived in Sydney, marking an important step towards first services. The next-generation, three-carriage train travelled 23,000 kilometres from Vienna. It was unloaded in Port Kembla last week and was trucked to Sydney Metro’s new Stabling and Maintenance Facility at Orchard Hills, where the train was assembled.
