Top Albums of 2025
I’ve been making a top albums list for 45 years and the only reason I keep doing them is that I get requests from friends every year. What I can say is that I have physical media for more than 85% of this list, and these are the albums I liked enough to pony up the cash to purchase. Enjoy, and happy holidays! Our top album of 2025 is from Jeff Tweedy. A triple album encapsulating 30 songs. Who knew Tweedy had this much consistently great material?

Chicago Bears host Cleveland Browns in coldest game of 2025
It’s December, and that means it’s time for some classic NFC North outdoor football. The Chicago Bears (9-4) are back home at Soldier Field this Sunday to host the Cleveland Browns (3-10), and judging by the team’s comments, they’re ready for a physical, cold-weather clash. Coming off a tough loss to the Packers, this is about holding serve at home and keeping their playoff hopes firmly alive.
Weekend Sports Report - Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers Preview - 12/5/25
The Chicago Bears travel to play the Green Bay Packers for the first time in a meaningful game since the 2010 NFC Championship game. “Packer” Dave Rusch was kind enough to join SRN’s Steve Leventhal for a discussion previewing Sunday’s game between the NFC leading Bears, a place they have not been in for fifteen years. Zack Pearson of the Bear Report was our guest as we discussed Chicago success in the 2025 season.

Chicago Bears: 2025 Season So Far Review and the Road Ahead
The Chicago Bears are surprising the NFL this season. It was a difficult 2024 season, in which the Bears started 3-2, but then lost to the Commanders 18-15 on a Hail Mary pass. That led to a ten-game losing streak which included five one-score losses, and led to the firing of coach Matt Eberflus. In 2025 the team has developed a new identity under Head Coach Ben Johnson, blending physicality, discipline, and situational efficiency.
Aging Gratefully - A new photo book of Grateful Dead fans then and now
Every now and then, a project comes along that feels so perfectly aligned with the spirit of the Grateful Dead community that you wonder how it hadn’t already happened. “Aging Gratefully,” the new book from photographer Bill Lemke and longtime Dead chronicler David Gans, is exactly that kind of creation — a deep dive into the faces, stories, and uniqueness of Dead Head culture. The Seed of the Project The origins stretch back to 1980, when Lemke attended his first Grateful Dead show.
