When Samantha Spencer arrived in Dubai five years ago with her husband and two young children, she was not continuing a career, she was rebuilding one. Relocating from the UK, Samantha brought with her an entrepreneurial mindset shaped by years of running her own business. As a salon owner and hairdresser, she had already mastered the fundamentals many professionals spend decades acquiring: client trust, operational discipline, and commercial awareness.

Set among cork oaks and rolling fields in the rural town of Cercal do Alentejo, Quinta Camarena is a calm eco resort just 15 minutes from a wild stretch of coast, dotted with quiet beaches. The mood is relaxed and thoughtful, appealing to surfers, walkers, yoga lovers, and those drawn to good food and local wine. Life here moves at an easy pace, shaped by nature, comfort, and a strong sense of place. The project is the work of Vera and Cam Camarena, whose lives crossed in New York City.

This Kensington townhouse has been reworked into a vivid, characterful home that celebrates colour, pattern, and confident, playful self-expression. Designed by Rebecca Hughes Interiors, the three-bedroom property has been transformed from a gloomy, enclosed space into a bright and spirited interior that feels uplifting, theatrical, and distinctly personal in every detail.

With Lunar New Year 2026 marking the Year of the Horse, its symbolism carries well beyond a single moment. Long associated with strength, autonomy, protection and forward motion, the Horse reflects a mindset rather than a date on the calendar. This selection of equestrian-inspired jewellery interprets those ideas through craftsmanship and symbolism, offering pieces meant to be worn with intention throughout the year.

Imagine being asked to design a city of the future in Saudi Arabia – and confidently choosing mud over glass, steel, and concrete. At first, the idea seems improbable. Yet on the outskirts of Riyadh stands proof that this material choice is not experimental but time-tested. More than 400 years ago, a settlement rose beside Wadi Hanifah using sun-dried mud bricks, and much of it still stands today.

The main house extends to approximately 7,000 sq. ft. and features an elegant entrance hall, a sitting room, dining room, snug, kitchen/breakfast room, conservatory, pantry, morning room, utility room, and W.C. Upstairs, the first floor houses the main bedroom with en suite, three additional bedrooms, and a family bathroom, while the second floor includes three further bedrooms, including one with en suite, plus a second family bathroom.

Elicyon’s Palm Jumeirah penthouse is a generous family home conceived as a private retreat high above the city. The design is intrinsically connected to its setting, drawing on sweeping views across the skyline and coastline from. Light, scale and proportion are carefully orchestrated to frame the shifting atmosphere throughout the day, while floor-to-ceiling glazing dissolves the boundary between inside and out, allowing sea, sky and city to form part of everyday life.

Track-focused– Koenigsegg’s Sadair’s Spear combines extreme power with full road legality and Scandinavian engineering. Limited to just 30 units worldwide, it features a twin-turbo V8 producing 1,300 hp on standard fuel and up to 1,625 hp on E85, paired with the revolutionary Light Speed Transmission for near-instant gear changes. Weight has been reduced by around 35 kg, further improving the power-to-weight ratio and sharpening on-track responsiveness even further.

Jo Baring, director of what became the Ingram Collection, recounts the story as she guides visitors through People Watching at the Dorset Museum & Art Gallery. Sharing art is central to the charity’s mission, she says. “What upsets Chris most are the beautiful works sitting unseen in storage.” While names such as Elizabeth Frink, Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Bridget Riley draw crowds, it is the lesser-known artists that give the collection its distinctive richness and unexpected depth.

Two decades ago, a European family office purchased the estate and completed extensive renovations and extensions to improve both comfort and functionality.
