Early October on the Cap d’Antibes: the sea still holds the summer, the light turns to tangerine, and the legendary Art Deco house where F. Scott Fitzgerald once wrote shows itself at its most beautiful. There is a moment on the Côte d’Azur that the summer crowds never see. The yachts have sailed on, the beach clubs exhale, and the Mediterranean, warmed by months of sun, is still soft enough for a long morning swim. The light changes too.
Tracht, Unbound - Irmas World
From the IRMA Archive to the current Jasmin Khezri Collection: how a single vintage piece can turn tradition into something entirely your own. We love to collect vintage Trachten pieces from around the world, but for Oktoberfest we stay local and found some unique pieces at our favourite vintage stores in Munich. German Tracht from the 1950s to the 1980s, with unique fabrics, colour combinations and elements from the past. Tracht was never meant to come out once a year for the Wiesn.
Before the Trachten- und Schützenzug
On the first Sunday of Oktoberfest, eight thousand six hundred marchers in dirndls, lederhosen and loden processed through Munich’s old town. I took some shots and came home wanting to put four centuries of Bavarian dress in conversation with the IRMA archive. The Trachten- und Schützenzug crossing Munich’s old town, 20 September 2026. Photography: Jasmin Khezri. There is a particular hush before the Trachten- und Schützenzug begins, even among a crowd fifty groups deep.
A Munich Guide off the Festwiese
From 19 September to 4 October, Munich hands itself over to beer tents, brass bands and a sea of Dirndl that can start to look remarkably similar by the third Maß (or the third day). A dress that is meant to fit everyone tends to end up looking like it belongs to no one in particular, and a Dirndl straight off the rack, paired with the same mass produced Blumenkranz as the next ten women in line, can tip a look from festive into Zirkuspferd territory faster than you’d think.
Celebrating La Rentrée in Munich
On 13 September, we opened the doors to the Sotheby’s auction house in Munich, which overlooks the Hofgarten on Odeonsplatz, to host an aperitivo event to mark La Rentrée — our take on ‘back to school’. Friends of the brand joined us to close out the summer together, before two days dedicated entirely to the new season. After the summer break, all you really want is to get comfortable at home again, surrounded by objects that inspire you and a table set beautifully for the season ahead.
Sundays at Farasha Farmhouse near Marrakesh
The concept behind Farasha Farmhouse, pairing wellness, art and farm-to-table dining, grew out of a specific set of influences rather than a single vision. “We were inspired by farm hotels in the Balearics and beyond,” says Rosena Charmoy.
Summertime sadness? Here’s your guide to overcoming it
There is a particular kind of quiet that settles in once August turns. The light softens earlier, the calendar fills back up, and the freedom of long days by the water gives way to routine. It is a feeling many of us know, and it does not have to be something we simply endure. The truth is that summer does not have to end the moment the season does.
Eden Roc, Ascona – Rebirth of a Diva
Ascona is an elegant diva. The promenade runs along Lago Maggiore in pastel houses and ice-cream queues. A short walk from the piazza, behind a line of palms, stands Hotel Eden Roc. It reopened recently, lighter than before. The old frosted-glass balustrades are gone. The designer behind the refit, Carlo Rampazzi, replaced them with clear glass, and windows that run close to floor and ceiling. Corner rooms get two balconies: a small one for the morning coffee, a wider one for the evening drink.
24 Hours in Lisbon
Lisbon in August might be crowded with tourists, but there are still hidden corners in town that feel authentic and enjoyable to stay in — a small boutique hotel in an artistic neighbourhood, a coffee place that looks like a tea party at home, and a French couple who started their atelier in Lisbon, making sandals by hand that are one of a kind, and much more. Here, IRMASWORLD opens the address book for a perfect day in the city, from a courtyard breakfast to a Nordic dinner table.
Jasmin Khezri Collection – The Making of Fall / Winter 2026
This season we were inspired by the mountains — not only the Swiss or Austrian Alps, but the mountains of Kurdistan in Persia, and the skiing possibilities just outside Tehran. This region always finds its way into our collection — the antique hunting garments made for men are a perfect example of the trims, stitches and proportions you will find throughout the JK Collection.
