This time, it is a sweeping agreement to disarm Hamas, establish a new Palestinian government in Gaza, withdraw the IDF after implementation, and replace Israeli forces with an international stabilization force and a new Palestinian police force.

Peloni:  Alan Dershowitz raises the question about Democrats standing up to the bigotry in their party. In doing so, notes that both Sen. Fetterman and Rep. Gottheimer stand as important symbols declaring that bigotry has no place in the Democratic party, even as bigotry currently is dominating the Democratic party.

Until they can acknowledge their own culpability and suspend their cognitive dissonance, Jewish progressives will remain lost in the weeds of their dogmatic swamp. I recently wrote a column discussing how liberal American Jews are feeling alienated from a progressive political establishment and Democratic Party that have become increasingly anti-Israel and antisemitic.

Peloni:  Allowing such totalitarian nations as Qatar, China and Saudi Arabia to have a voice within the political discourse in the US is how freedom is lost and sovereignty is surrendered to nations that are specifically wedded for the single purpose of conquering the American nation. How long will it be before the American people announce that their educational and political spheres are no longer open to the authoritarian influences of its enemies.
