Isle of Wight Radio (occasionally shortened to IW Radio) is an independent local radio station in Newport on the Isle of Wight. The station began transmitting from Briddlesford Farm AM transmitter on 15 April 1990. Isle of Wight Radio switched to FM in March 1998, its main transmitter is at Chillerton Down on 107FM, with three low power relays on 102FM in Cowes, Ventnor and Ryde. Source

A team from the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary has completed one of the UK's toughest mountain challenges to raise money for the Sandown-based charity. Walk the Wight 2026 has raised a record-breaking £620,454.67 for Mountbatten Isle of Wight, smashing the event's previous fundraising record by more than £60,000. The final total was announced at a thank you event on Thursday evening following this year's charity walk, which was sponsored by the Isle of Wight Festival and Red Funnel. More than 9,000 people took part in Walk the Wight on 10 May, choosing from four routes of up to 26 miles across the Island.
