Discrepancies have been noted between clinical and histological diagnosis of vascular malformations. To evaluate the effectiveness of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA) classification in diagnosing benign vascular anomalies (VA) based on clinical and (immuno) histological parameters, focusing on lymphatic differentiation and vascular proliferation.
A country-wide teledermoscopy service in Estonia shows results comparable to those in experimental setting studies in management plan and diagnostic accuracy - a retrospective database study - JAAD International
Teledermoscopy accuracy has been examined in experimental settings and is recommended for primary care despite lacking real-world implementation evidence. A teledermoscopy service has been provided in Estonia since 2013 where lesions are evaluated based on the patient’s or general practitioner’s suggestion. Management plan and diagnostic accuracy of a real-world store-and-forward teledermoscopy service for melanoma diagnosis were evaluated.
