The AC/DC concert scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16 in Toronto has been canceled after a severe thunderstorm caused "significant damage" to Rogers Stadium last week. As you can see in the video and photos below, the Sept. 2 storm caused buckling and major damage to large sections of the stadium's seating area.

Two small-ish firefighting airplanes made a low buzz over Cheyenne, Wyoming, Wednesday afternoon and landed for refueling. They are helping to fight the Moonshine fire near Wheatland, Wyoming. A Facebook page has been started to update folks on the fire. Find it at this link. Moonshine Fire began 2 miles NE of Government Peak Rd at Tunnel Rd, Wheatland, Platte & Albany Counties, WY. The latest reports as of Wednesday afternoon show that it has grown to 1300 acres.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra has announced its winter tour dates. The group's annual holiday-themed shows will launch in mid-November and run through the end of the year. A promotional video for the upcoming tour is available below. This year's performances will mark the 30th anniversary of their popular "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve" show with multiple shows.

Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello is half Black – and while this may be common knowledge to most of us, the acclaimed guitarist says he still regularly meets fans who are surprised by his race. “There's a sizable portion of people in my audience through the decades that are – when I talk about being African American – are stunned and refuse to believe it,” Morello admitted during a recent appearance on the Broken Record podcast.

Styx's Sunday (Sept. 6) concert in Los Angeles marked the last in a string of shared dates with Chicago. But they aren't going home after the Windy Cities Tour - All The Hits … Your Kind of Tour. Instead, Styx will play headliner concerts beginning in early October. This North American tour continues into early December. The group also has two stops scheduled for 2027, including another pairing with Cheap Trick in California. Presale for this January 2027 show begins today (Sept. 9) at 1PM ET/10AM PT.

The City of Cheyenne reminds city residents that the oversize vehicle restrictions approved by the Cheyenne City Council in 2024 will take effect on Saturday, Sept. 12. Under the ordinance, oversize vehicles are defined as "any vehicle or trailer or combination that exceeds 25 feet in length, 9 feet in height, or 8.5 feet in width. Mirrors, lights, and other safety features on a vehicle do not contribute to this limit," That's according to a City of Cheyenne news release.

DENVER — Those who advise to enjoy everything in moderation haven’t checked out the food at many professional-sports stadiums these days. Gone are the years when your options were limited to hot dogs, rudimentary hamburgers, chicken tenders, peanuts and soft pretzels. Now, stadiums try to one-up each other with unique items — all the way down to the minor leagues. A baseball trip that included three different A-ball leagues served as a reminder of that.

It’s the final week of the Wyoming High School tennis regular season. Matches are spread across five days from Tuesday through Saturday. Week 5 of the 2026 season features teams finishing up conference duals before next week’s regional championships in Rock Springs and Gillette. Some are rivalry matches, plus a few make-ups because of previous weather postponements. Thursday and Saturday feature the most matches on the slate.
