According to MySA.com, the winner has secured a financial advisor, lawyer and CPA to determine how best to manage the prize.

Thao Duong and Lam Mai of Garland were recently forced by a judge to pay back $1.5 million after being convicted of smuggling and selling illegal animal steroids and pesticides. According to WFAA, the pair operated a website selling veterinary drugs and pesticides smuggled into the US from Mexico. Doung began this practice in 2011. She is not a veterinarian and did not require customers to provide any prescriptions for the drugs.

Two Michelin Star0winning BBQ pitmasters from Austin are setting up shop in London for a one-month residencies. John Bates of InterStellar BBQ and Ali Clem of La Barbecue will be serving their wares at the London hotel The Nedfrom September 4 through October 8. According to CultureMap Dallas, items on the menu include pork ribs, pulled lamb shoulder, chopped cheese sausage, and InterStellar's famous peach tea pork belly burnt ends. Brisket will also be available as an add-on.

With the nation’s scrutiny of Flock Cameras at an all-time high, the city of Dallas has recently started putting AI cameras on their garbage trucks in order to monitor homes and spot any code violations. According to NBC DFW, Dallas began testing these cameras in April and have captured images of tens of thousands of homes across the city.

Six Flags is moving its headquarters back to Arlington and they are already striking deals to improve the park for North Texans for years to come. Six Flags just announced the acquisition of an acclaimed, fan-favorite roller coaster, the ArieForce One, named in honor of Fun Spot America Founder John Arie Sr. According to WFAA, the coaster tops out at 154 feet with a first drop of 146 feet and a top speed of 64 mph.

The days of walking a family member all the way to their gate for a flight are coming back, at least for a select few. Per NBC DFW, DFW Airport is one of only 13 airports in the country that will allow eligible TSA PreCheck members to enter security and pass through the gates without having an airline ticket.
