All patients presented with irregular vaginal bleeding following pregnancy termination and not responsive to medical treatment. Patients were confirmed to have a UAVF along with concurrent intrauterine residue using three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasonography, uterine angiography, or pelvic-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging; and demonstrated a poor response to medical treatment. Under real-time ultrasound guidance, HIFU was used to ablate the arteriovenous malformation region.
There is great consensus that the implementation of the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) approach is beneficial for surgical patients, but there is a paucity of data concerning its application in women with deep endometriosis (DE) who are candidates for bowel surgery.
The objective of this study is to compare quality of life (QOL) for myomectomy versus hysterectomy 1-5 years after surgical management for fibroids. This study evaluated the difference in QOL in a population of women of reproductive age, including those who desire fertility. One hundred and forty-two women who underwent hysterectomy or myomectomy in 2015 through 2020. Included patients were women aged 18 years or older who underwent surgical intervention due to uterine fibroids.
To demonstrate the surgical technique of retroperitoneal para-aortic lymphadenectomy to prevent peritoneal rupture in gynecologic malignant disease. In this video, the authors describe how to use a balloon trocar to create a safe and efficient working space without peritoneal rupture. Para-aortic lymphadenectomy is a part of most gynecologic oncology procedures for primary and recurrent gynecologic malignancies.

To demonstrate the advantages of a combined robotic-assisted laparoscopic and thoracic approach in the management of extensive diaphragmatic, pleural and pericardial endometriosis A video article demonstrating excision of endometriosis from pericardium, diaphragm and pleura
We would like to thank Dr. Martin for his insights [1] on our recently published article [2]. His research and knowledge have been invaluable contributions to our field while promoting optimal care for patients with endometriosis. We agree that additional research is needed to better understand the risks and benefits of increased recognition and surgical management of rectosigmoid endometriosis.
Procedure of selective fetal reduction under ultrasound-guided laparoscopy at operating room (white round) (A). The retained product of conception was visualized at the right interstitial site following cesarean delivery (white arrow) (B). The histopathological findings confirmed the decidual tissue and chorionic villi (C).
Mansour et al. are thanked for keeping the difficulties in detecting deep rectosigmoid endometriosis at the forefront of surgical concerns. They have covered the possibility that deep pelvic ultrasound, rectal ultrasonography, colonoscopy, and MRI may decrease the chance that these lesions are missed (1). Their use of imaging supports Griffiths et al., who reported 14 (88%) of 16 cases with rectovaginal endometriosis missed at a first laparoscopy (2).
