OK, I know I said “summer break“, but in my defense, there are still 30°C (86°F) here in France in October… My dearest Galosh, It has been almost two months since I last picked up a pencil to draw. I feel stuck. “You’'ll draw when you have something to say”. What if I've said it all? What if there is no more saying within me? I'm empty of convincing thoughts, at times. I'm not a teacher. I'm not an advocate. I'm Jo. Jo has silly hair and wears a straw hat. She walks barefoot most of the time.

Titus my friend, This week has seen the world record in global mean temperature. It's weird as I write it down. At home there was a neat 36-feels-like-43 Celsius, (that's 95 Fahrenheit). Which considering what you might have had is pretty ok. How has your house been behaving? Is the insulation holding up? Are you ready for the next heatwave? I've been putting mosquito nets up and opening the window as soon as it start cooling off, with intricate plans of pressure building to move the air around.

Laretta dear, I know you are as busy this summer as I am, so plans about our corespondance are in order. I'm going off to The Klosters Forum next week, which is absolutely exciting because I'm going to meet all the people - the very few people - who are doing Regenerative Architecture in the world today. There will be about 80 of us. Ironically, we’ll be talking about getting regen from niche to mainstream. We will be talking about all of the things that I am writing to you about.
