Results and Discussion Site One. Four ERT surveys in our target area of Site 1 were performed with an electrode spacing of 0.15 m, and positioned such that the end of Survey 1A was the beginning of Survey 1B and so on, with an overall survey length of 33.4 m (figure 3). Survey 1A started at the highest elevation, with a relative elevation change of 0.62 m across the survey. The overall slope of the line was 1.86%.

Using ArcGIS hydrologic modeling and LiDAR digital elevation data to evaluate surface runoff interception performance of riparian vegetative filter strip buffers in central Iowa
Results and Discussion The average of the difference in elevation between a 5 × 5 m LiDAR generated DEM and a 5 × 5 m DEM generated from onsite collected survey data was 14 cm with root mean square error of 16 cm. The vertical accuracy of the LiDAR generated DEM was found to be 31 cm using the National Standard for Spatial Data Accuracy method. The site 1 research area is divided into three subbasins: 1A, 1B, and 1C.

Results and Discussion Meteorological Conditions. The total rainfall during the model period from April 21, 2015, to February 29, 2016, was 1,236 mm, of which 689 mm occurred between November and January (table 3). Drought occurred during most of 2016 to 2017 with rainfall totaling 706 mm between April 28, 2016, and February 26, 2017.
