15 Peaks of Summer Challenge for the Wave Project
7 years ago I volunteered at my first Wave Project session, and I was instantly blown away. The positive affects that the water and the community had on the young people taking part was so instantly so evident. It’s now been 5 years since I started working with the charity, running the project first in St Andrews, and now at Lost Shore. My fundraiser for PROSTATE CANCER UK
I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2027 in support of Prostate Cancer UK. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2023 and he is the main inspiration as to why I want to take on this challenge is because of him and what he has been since then! Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK and the risk is doubled for black men. That’s someone’s dad, brother, partner, or mate.
