The Brown University school shooting investigation appears to have hit a wall because police officials didn’t have any new info about the suspect to share last night or this morning (12/18). Officials have confirmed that zero of the 1,200 cameras on the Brown University campus recorded the suspect entering or leaving the scene. Brown’s cameras are also not connected to the new $1M Providence PD Real-time Crime Monitoring Center.

Brown University school shooting and brief history of higher ed attacks
At 4pm on Saturday, December 13, a gunman dressed in all black and a mask opened fire inside a classroom during an economics exam prep session at Brown University. He fired approximately forty 9mm rounds inside the room and police found two additional loaded 30-round magazines. Unlike most other school shootings and mass shootings, the gunman fled before police arrived while he still had additional ammo and potential victims were inside the building.
