The National recorded a version of the song “Heaven,” while The Linda Lindas put their spin on “Found a Job.” The compilation also includes the previously released covers of “Burning Down the House,” “Take Me to the River” and “Girlfriend Is Better,” done by Paramore, Lorde and girl in red, respectively.

The Used has announced a new B-sides compilation called MEDZ. The set includes songs written during the sessions for The Used’s latest album, 2023’s Toxic Positivity, that didn’t end up making the record. MEDZ also includes the previously released non-album tracks “People Are Vomit” and “F*** You.” The Used will launch a U.S. tour in June.

The The, the English post-punk outfit with possibly the least SEO-friendly band name of all time, has announced a new album for the first time in 24 years. The record is called Ensoulment and is due out September 6. To record their new album Here to Eternity, Collective Soul headed to the late Elvis Presley‘s estate in Palm Springs, California. Once there, the “Shine” rockers found the house largely untouched since The King passed away. “[It had] the same stove, same refrigerator,” frontman Ed Roland tells ABC Audio. “I mean, I showered in his shower.” While recording, Roland and his bandmates would often invite Elvis fans and tourists who visited the house inside.

Kings of Leon have shared a video for their song “Seen,” a track off their new album, Can We Please Have Fun. The clip follows a spotlight hopping between different members while the rest of the band is bathed in glowing white light. Live Nation’s Concert Week, which offers $25 all-in tickets to thousands of summer concerts, kicks off Wednesday, May 8.
