Jess Jacobs stars in and produces the new indie film “If You See Something,” directed by Oday Rasheed and written by Jacobs and Avram Ludwig. The film follows the story of Ali, a doctor (played by Adam Bakri), and Katie, a gallerist (played by Jess Jacobs), who are in a relationship as Ali, an Iraqi immigrant, seeks political asylum in the United States. Listed as a thriller, the story begins with Ali and Katie building a new life together in New York.

Loud Rooms and Small Stages: Nightstand Prepares to Release Their First Album
As he finishes working on the third song of their first album, Noah Schmitz, lead guitarist of Nightstand, reminisces about how far the band has come. Growing up surrounded by music, Schmitz always hoped to be in a band, but he never expected to make his dreams a reality. He now plays in Nightstand, a self-described “basement-rock” band based out of Columbia, alongside his four best friends.
Mizzou basketball lands Kennard Davis in the portal
It was announced on Friday that BYU transfer Kennard Davis has committed to Missouri. The 6-foot-6 wing is a rising senior and a Missouri native, having attended Vashon High School in St. Louis. He played there with current Mizzou forward Nicholas Randall, part of a Wolverine dynasty that won 5 straight Missouri Class 4 championships. Davis, a three-star recruit out of high school, attended Southern Illinois his freshman and sophomore years, winning second-team conference honors as a sophomore.
