Knights of Columbus 8178 Soup and Sandwich Meal will be held on Saturday, September 19th at Saint Patrick's Hall in Monona following 4pm Mass, with serving from 5 until 7pm. The Menu includes a variety of homemade soups, sandwiches, and dessert bars. It is a Free Will Offering. Carry-outs available. Proceeds directed to these affected by Postville's Agri Star fire and the KC Scholarship Fund.
An Edgewood Woman Charged in a Fatal UTV Accident has Case Dissmissed
The case involving an Edgewood charged in a fatal UTV has been dismissed. 30-year old Hanna Meese was charged in connection with the May 2nd, 2021 crash. Meese lost control of the UTV and was ejected from the vehicle along a passenger, 32-year old Kordan G. Cabalka of Edgewood, who died at the scene. Meese sustained serious injuries. Court documents say that Meese had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.

Luana City Council Minutes of September 3, 2026 The Luana City Council held their regular monthly meeting Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 7:00 pm. with Council Members Lonnie Baade, Kevin Boddicker, Craig Radloff and Jackie Radloff-Schneider present. Absent: Todd Olson. Mayor Luke Steege called meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Minutes of August meeting were reviewed and approved upon motion by Radloff-Schneider, second by Baade carried unanimously.

September 4th Scores--MFL MarMac Uses Big Second Half to Pull Away from Clayton Ridge! Scores are posted!
MFL MarMac used a dominate second-half to pull away from Clayton Ridge 42-20. The Bulldogs outscored the Eagles 29-0 in the second half. The first half featured big plays and six lead changes. MFL MarMac rushed for 427-yards in the game. Tyce Wikner led the way, carrying 19-times for 209-yards and four touchdowns. Wikner had scoring runs of 53, 35, 10, and 40. Kashton Decker added 103-yards on eight carries and added a 46-yard reception for a score. . Blake Schutte added a 16-yard scoring run.
