Three-time U.S. Olympian David Hearn pleaded not guilty in D.C. Superior Court on Thursday morning to a felony charge of property destruction. Federal prosecutors accuse Hearn of deliberately tearing up protective sealant from the newly remodeled Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, causing more than $1,000 in damage during a June 19 incident. Hearn, a 67-year-old resident of Bethesda, Maryland, entered the plea through his legal representation during his initial court appearance.

Eric Church will give fans around the world a chance to watch his sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre performances on July 14, 15 and 16 through a live pay-per-view broadcast –  extending access to one of the most anticipated events on his concert calendar. The announcement comes after tickets for the Colorado shows were quickly claimed, continuing Church’s strong demand at the iconic venue.

The decision follows a public allegation of sexual assault made by a former girlfriend, which led to a swift erosion of support from key political allies and party leaders. Today, I salute Army Veteran Gary Parks. Drafted into the Army in 1966, Oklahoma native Gary Parks used his lifelong passion for weather to become a ballistic meteorologist. During the Vietnam War, he flew weather balloons under fire to provide artillery units with critical atmospheric data for targeting. After returning to Fort Hood to assist paratrooper drills, Parks completed his service in 1969.
