Historic Slaton Bakery Celebrates Dolly Parton In The Sweetest Way Original
My parents have started having special day dates with each other (so precious!), with my Dad taking my Mom on the nice, easy drive to Slaton for Smokin Dicks BBQ and a trip to the historic Slaton Bakery (109 S 9th St), too. In the bakery case today was a very sweet tribute to Dolly Parton. Ahead Of Lubbock Show, Toadies Release Iconic Album For The First Time Ever On Vinyl Original
Hell Below/ Stars Above is the most criminally overlooked rock album of all time. It is my absolute favorite from the Toadies. It's as emotional and gorgeous as Southern Gothic music can be, and it is very dear to me. And now, for the first time in 25 years, it's available on vinyl. These Lubbock Locations Will Be Closed on Labor Day
Ah, Labor Day. One of America's holidays with no true origin. We'll get into what that means in a second, but for now, let's go over the offices in Lubbock that will be closed on Monday, September 7. Trash pickup will have an altered schedule, meaning that solid waste will be collected (gross) on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 8 and 9, rather than Monday and Tuesday. Speaking of trash, both Lubbock landfills will be closed on Labor Day as well. This also goes for attended drop-off stations.
