Several people have tagged me in this thing and I have failed miserably at it before. If I'm being truthful with myself, I maybe ate 40% of this thing.

Texas Gas Prices Climb 13 Cents as Crude Oil Nears $80 a Barrel
Texans are facing rising gas prices again this week. Many hoped last week was a fluke, and prices would trend downward again, but unfortunately, prices rose again. According to AAA Texas, gas prices in Texas are up 13 cents from last week, with the average price per gallon at $3.55. We're paying 76 more cents than last year. With back-to-school on the horizon, the extra money Texans have to shell out for gas is going to hurt their bottom lines.
Lufkin Firefighter Entrance Exam Set for September
Being a firefighter was never on my list of dreams when I was growing up. I've got nothing against them. In fact, I'm a huge fan of firemen. It just wasn't something that I saw myself doing and still don't. But that's a job that we NEED people to do, most definitely. Well, it looks like Lufkin is getting ready to add more of those interested, needed people to its ranks.
How Mexico Views The Texas Revolution
They don't dwell on it. No hard feelings or anything, the battle for Texas' independence from Mexico just isn't as big of a deal to them as it is to us. Nobody likes to lose and countries especially don't like losing huge chunks of land, all the accompanying resources and large amounts of their citizenry. Mexico has many reasons to totally rue the day they lost Texas. That's not the reason why they tend to jump over that moment in history classes though. It's because they were busy.
Mansfield’s New Justin Center Brings Families and Crisis Services Under One Roof
A new place has opened in DeSoto Parish to help victims who are facing trauma in their lives. The Justin Center is now open for business in Mansfield. This is a one stop shop for families and children who are dealing with a crisis in their lives. I was planning to write this to let the public know about this amazing place, but I want you know how special this day was for me.
