He was 43 years old. Chad joined Lubbock radio in 2003 and soon became the voice of KFYO's morning show. In 2021, The Chad Hasty Show moved to late afternoons, where he continued informing and entertaining audiences across the region.
Lubbock 19-Year-Old Charged With Sexually Assaulting Drunk Victim Original
A young man in Lubbock was recently charged for his involvement in the sexual assault of a female victim. The woman was too drunk to speak clearly, and was filmed being assaulted by the man and another accomplice on her own cell phone. 19-year-old Joshua Caleb Lewis was charged on Friday, April 24, with sexual assault following an incident in March involving a female victim.

Gary Boren has been fighting for his name to appear on the ballot for Lubbock City Council District 4, but since he only lived in the district for two months when he filed, the city rejected him. State law requires candidates who apply for city council to have lived in the district for at least six months.
