Wilma J. Knudsen, 77, of Beatrice, passed away Thursday morning, July 9, 2026, at the Beatrice Good Samaritan Society. She was born on December 3, 1948, in Ogallala to Nels and Caroline (Krauter) Knudsen. Wilma grew up in Paxton and North Platte with her brothers, Carl, James, and Jerry, and sister, Doris. In 1970, she moved to Martin Luther Home in Beatrice. Later she lived with a local lady, Jeanette Fischer, before moving into her own apartment.
Roger Frank Sejkora, age 84 of R. Liberty, NE passed away at his home on July 8, 2026. He was born on May 5, 1942 in Pawnee City to Edwin and Marjorie (Hunt) Sejkora. Roger was a 1961 graduate of Liberty High School and married his high school sweetheart, Elsie Kay Powell on September 10, 1961. In 1962, they moved to Frontine, Montana where they started their family adopting 4 children. Roger was a quick-witted man who was not hesitant to call a spade a spade.
