At IBC 2026, Calrec has unveiled Type RT, a new 6, 12 and 18-motorised fader console range that condenses everything a broadcast audio desk needs into a compact, self-contained unit. The launch forms part of Calrec's wider IP ecosystem on show, built around its established Argo consoles, giving broadcasters the freedom to build productions their own way, sizing their investment to the project.

Riedel Communications today announced that Mediacom has purchased and deployed Easy5G™, Riedel’s Private 5G solution, for live broadcast coverage of La Vuelta in Monaco. La Vuelta is a professional cycling race, and Mediacom independently deployed and operated the Easy5G system to provide wireless connectivity for two HD cameras covering the race departure ceremony at Monaco’s Place du Palais Princier.
