Heart endured several lineup changes, and Wilson found herself questioning what direction the band should take. “We had a record contract with Capitol at that point,” the singer recalled during a recent appearance on the Magnificent Others with Billy Corgan podcast.

Colorado Families Love This Montrose Summer Hot Spot
The near triple-digit heat of summer has arrived in Western Colorado, and this has many of us trading overworked air conditioners for the cool, rushing water of the Montrose Water Sports Park. The park on the Uncompahgre River is one of Montrose's signature summer attractions, drawing everyone from first-time visitors and paddleboarders to experienced kayakers and families looking for a fun day in the park.
Sacrifices Being Made to Stay Cool During the Hot Colorado Days
Being hot is always uncomfortable. With the heat hitting Colorado this summer, many are doing their best to stay cool. Running the air conditioner can be pricey and raise your bills, but it is also necessary to stay comfortable. It is not worth it to save a few bucks if you are going to be uncomfortable and hot in your home. Obviously, the bigger the home, the more it costs to cool it off.

Aspen Acres Fire (Pueblo and Custer counties): Just passed 99,000 acres, making it the seventh-largest fire in Colorado history. More than 850 structures destroyed, at least 337 of them homes. 36% contained. Ferris Fire (Dolores County): Past 64,000 acres and now one of the ten largest in state history.
The Top 10 Rock Albums of 2026 (So Far)
The best albums of 2026 are, for the most part, firmly rooted in the past. It's not only the artists — classic rock legends and standbys such as Peter Frampton, the Rolling Stones and the two surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr — that dominate the Top 10 Rock Albums of 2026 (So Far) selected by the UCR staff, but also the styles and sounds of records of artists that came of age after the '70s' golden era of FM rock.
