City of Twin Falls Plans to Turn This Corn Field Into a Subdivision With a Gas Station and Storage Units
The Twin Falls Planning and Zoning Commission is having a special meeting on Tuesday evening to discuss the proposal to allow the Cook’s Corner Subdivision to become a reality on the south side of Twin Falls. The Plan is to build a gas station with a convenience store, storage units, and a residential neighborhood. The project will take the current 39-acre field, which is currently growing corn, at the southwest corner of Blue Lakes Blvd and Orchard Drive.

The Idaho State Police just posted a news release for a fatal accident that happened on Monday morning north of Arco, Idaho. The crash involved two vehicles, an SUV and a motorhome. Idaho State Police are investigating the crash. This morning, we shared a post covering each accident the Idaho State Police had reported over the weekend. There were 5 accidents at that time with 8 people injured, but no fatalities were reported. The ISP have now shared details of one deadly crash.
Idaho State Police Report 8 Injured in 5 Separate Highway Accidents Original
Over the weekend and into Monday, the Idaho State Police reported five serious accidents on Idaho highways. The accidents resulted in at least eight people being injured, some of whom are now in critical condition. Miraculously, there were no fatalities reported in any of the accidents.
