A federal judge blocked the United States Postal Service from carrying out an executive order from President Donald Trump that would have restricted delivery of mail-in ballots for some states because it violated a settlement reached in an earlier lawsuit. Trump’s order directed USPS only to transmit ballots for states that provide a list of mail-in voters and meet other requirements for vote-by-mail programs.

Trump Accounts will launch on July 4, giving families with young children a new way to build long-term savings and provide what the Trump administration calls a stronger financial start. Beginning Saturday, parents, guardians, employers and other contributors will be able to deposit money into accounts for children under 18.

Oregon child welfare officials are asking for the public’s help to find a 16-year-old who went missing in Eugene. The Oregon Department of Human Services Child Welfare Division said Jaylynn O’Hara went missing from Eugene near Alton Baker Park on Monday, June 29. ODHS said Jaylynn is believed to be in danger. ODHS is asking anyone who believes they see Jaylynn to call 911 or contact local law enforcement.
