Broncos lose opener on the road
(Sioux Center, IA) – Beginning their season on the road at #8 Dordt, the Broncos fell 41-7 to the Defenders on Saturday night. On their first drive, Hastings took up almost eight minutes off the clock, but the drive ended with a punt after losing two yards on a third-and-eight from the Dordt 41 yard line. The Defenders took the ball down the field in six plays from 80 yards out, ending in a 12-yard touchdown reception to go up 7-0 after the first quarter.
