Los Angeles-based real estate developer Leo Lee is pitching a third proposal for a new apartment complex at a site in Koreatown that he has been trying to redevelop since before the pandemic. The developer recently filed an application to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning for a new 8-story mixed-use building with 219 market-rate units at 3800 West 6th Street.

The sale of the building, known as the Bank of America Plaza and formerly Security Pacific Plaza, is the largest office transaction in Los Angeles in 2026.

Santa Fe-based investment management firm Faulkner Capital Partners recently acquired an 86-unit apartment building on Cherokee Avenue in Hollywood, just one block north of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The investment firm paid $33.9 million for the property located at 1818 North Cherokee Avenue, known as The Baxter. The property was completed in 2024 and includes two levels of subterranean parking and hotel-like amenities.

After recently purchasing a 35-million-dollar mansion with her husband, music producer Benny Blanco, she is officially reorganizing her real estate portfolio. The singer originally purchased the property for $5 million in 2020. The six-bedroom, 10-bathroom Encino residence is currently listed for $6.5 million by Branden and Rayni Williams with The Beverly Hills Estates.
