Lincoln County Fair activities begin taking shape With the 2026 Lincoln County Fair and Rodeo just weeks away, organizers are encouraging residents to begin preparing exhibits and registering for events before upcoming deadlines. The fair will be held Aug. 5-8 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Panaca, with opportunities for residents of all ages to participate in exhibits, competitions and rodeo events. Lincoln County Library System to celebrate Panaca branch grand opening
After years of planning and searching for the right location, the Lincoln County Library System will celebrate the grand opening of its newest branch in Panaca on Wednesday, July 22. The new branch will be located in Room 107 of the Panaca Town Center. A grand opening celebration will begin at 11 a.m., with the branch remaining open until 4 p.m. that day. Visitors should use the back entrance near the LDS church lawn to access the library.

Lincoln County first responders respond to 120 calls during busy week LINCOLN COUNTY — Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies and the Pahranagat Valley Volunteer Fire District responded to a variety of incidents during the week of July 6-13, including domestic disturbances, assaults, drug investigations, medical emergencies and a vehicle fire. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office handled 115 calls for service during the reporting period.
