Judy K. Hawryluk, 79, of Lancaster, PA, went home to be with Jesus at the home of her daughter in Lancaster Township, where she had resided since 2008. In addition to being a woman of strong faith in God, Judy was known for her love for her family and many dear friends. She was born in 1946 to Earl and Dorothy (McCurdy) Richwine of Bainbridge, PA.
Frederick M. Goudy (1938-2026)
Frederick M. Goudy passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, at Stoneridge Healthcare Center. He was the husband of Louise K. (Kimmel) Goudy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, LuAnn, Craig, Sharon, Lynn, Jane, and Jill; step-children, Diane, Beth, Amy, Eric, and Curt; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Thompson Funeral Home Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
Marsha Natalie Weaver (1965-2026)
Marsha Natalie Weaver, 61, of Richland, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, at the Clifton Center of Penn Medicine Hospital. She was born on May 10, 1965, in Owens Town, Andros, Bahamas, to the late Granville Brown and Shirley (Fowler) Brown. Marsha Weaver was the wife of Jonathan D. Weaver for 32 years. She was a faithful member of the Richland Mennonite Church. She was a caretaker of the elderly, which she greatly enjoyed. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, aunt, and friend.
Lee Alexander Fulbright (1993-2026)
Lee Alexander Fulbright, 33, of Newmanstown, PA, went to the loving arms of Jesus on Aug. 28, 2026. He was born on May 10, 1993, in Kennesaw, GA, to Frank B. and Barbara A. (Lambert) Fulbright. Lee had a love for golf and enjoyed the time spent on the course and the memories made along the way. His life touched many people, and the memories he leaves behind will forever hold a special place in our hearts. He enjoyed headbanging along to loud music.

Pearle M. Gardner (1937-2026)
Pearle Marie Gardner, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully on Aug. 31, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on June 28, 1937, to Howard and Eleanora Smith in Lancaster County. After graduating from high school, she had several secretarial jobs and retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in 1999. She married Thomas Gardner in 1965, and, together, they shared 45 wonderful years. Pearle enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafting, and was known for her love of collecting.

Jonestown delays action on speed tables
This article was funded by LebTown donors as part of our Civic Impact Reporting Project. Jonestown Borough Council tabled action on several matters, including discussion of the repair of multiple roads and the possible installation of speed tables on West Market Street, at its monthly meeting Tuesday. Though the agenda included approval for the repair of Walnut Street, Lancaster Street, and the road near Jonestown Bank and approval for three speed tables on West Market Street, no action was taken.
Kenneth M. Michael (1942-2026)
Kenneth M. Michael, 84, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Aug. 31, 2026, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra (Brobst), with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Born in Lebanon, PA, on March 14, 1942, Kenneth (Ken) was a son of the late Myles Keating and Margaret (Magyar). He graduated from Lebanon High School, class of 1960. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army.
