Legion air rifle tournament begins July 23
The high school precision and sporter class shooters will compete in Hillsdale, Mich., July 23-25. The American Legion’s Junior 3-Position Air Rifle National Championships get underway Thursday in Hillsdale, Mich., on the campus of Hillsdale College. The 15 competitors in the precision class and 15 in the sporter class will compete July 23-24 by shooting a .177 caliber rifle in three positions – prone, standing and kneeling.
Hegseth announces annual testosterone screenings for servicemembers age 30 or older
Testosterone screening will be added to the periodic health assessment for troops over 30. The Pentagon will institute annual testosterone deficiency screenings for service members ages 30 and older, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced in a social media video Wednesday. “I’m authorizing a new screening program for testosterone deficiency for our service members, ensuring you have the right testosterone levels to operate at your absolute best,” Hegseth said in the video, posted to X.
