Each publication features local stories from local people, schools and community groups, with many readers keeping their monthly copy and only discarding it when the next issue arrives to their letterbox. Delivered free to over 11 000 homes each month, The Lake News is an integral part of the strong Forest Lake community and continues to grow, with its distribution including some of Forest Lake’s neighbouring suburbs: Doolandella, Ellen Grove, Forestdale, and Heathwood.
