1973 Camaro RS: SEMA-Built Street Monster Some classic Camaros are best appreciated for their originality. This one takes the exact opposite approach. Built by Wisconsin-based D&Z Customs for the 2013 SEMA Show, this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro RS was created as a full-blown performance machine rather than a sympathetic restoration.

Intro GM has never had a shortage of performance cars. The problem is that the same names tend to dominate the conversation. Corvette, Camaro, GTO, Chevelle, and Trans Am get the glory, while plenty of other GM performance machines have been pushed into the shadows. Some were too expensive. Others were too understated. A few arrived at exactly the wrong time. And then there are the cars that were simply overshadowed by something else wearing a GM badge.

Sacrilege on Wheels There are ways to modify a 1963 Corvette, and then there is this. The split-window C2 is already one of the most recognizable and collectible Corvettes ever made, thanks in no small part to the divided rear glass that Chevrolet used for just one model year. This car, however, was subjected to a transformation so extensive that calling it a modified C2 almost feels misleading.

The Partnership The current-generation Chevrolet Silverado is approaching the end of the road, but Callaway Cars and Waldoch Crafts aren't letting it leave quietly. The two specialty vehicle companies have teamed up for the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado SC602 Launch Edition, a limited-production street truck that combines a supercharged V8 with suspension, braking, exhaust, and cosmetic upgrades.

A Rare Cadillac Racer Some race cars are interesting because of what they are, while others stand out because of what they accomplished. The Cadillac CTS-V.R Coupe falls firmly into the second category. Only three examples were constructed for Cadillac's Pirelli World Challenge GT program, and one of them is now being offered for $249,000.

Not every Chevy small-block became a legend... These GM V8s earned reputations for expensive failures, disappointing performance, or both.

Intro Calling a car "overrated" doesn't mean it's bad. In many cases, it simply means the reputation outgrew the car itself. General Motors has produced some of the greatest performance vehicles in automotive history, but a handful have become larger-than-life legends despite having shortcomings that are often overlooked.

A Different Kind of Restomod At first glance, this Chevrolet C10 looks like a neglected pickup that's spent decades sitting in a field. The faded paint, surface rust, and worn body panels all suggest a truck nearing the end of its life. In reality, it's one of the most comprehensive classic truck conversions on the market.

Intro For over 70 years, Chevrolet has been cranking out V8 engines that have powered everything from family sedans and pickup trucks to Le Mans winners and world-class sports cars. Some became famous because they were nearly indestructible. Others earned their place by embarrassing cars that cost twice as much. Picking just 10 wasn't easy, and there are certainly a few honorable mentions that enthusiasts will argue deserve a spot.

A New Lightweight Contender After more than four years in development, the Nichols N1A has officially reached production. The British sports car is the first model from Nichols Cars, a company founded by former Formula 1 engineer Steve Nichols, whose résumé includes the legendary McLaren MP4/1, MP4/3, and MP4/4 race cars. Rather than chasing technology-heavy performance, the N1A focuses on keeping weight low and driver involvement high. Production will be limited to fewer than 150 cars worldwide.
