These symptoms include memory loss, disorientation, confusion, and thinking problems. Of the diseases that cause dementia, Alzheimer’s is the most prevalent among people older than 65.

On Sunday, May 3 at 7pm, the Sam Grisman Project will perform at the Buskirk Chumley Theater. Led by bassist Sam Grisman, the ensemble is dedicated to celebrating and expanding the legacy of American acoustic music. Featuring a rotating lineup of acoustic players from around the country, each performance is unique—blending bluegrass, folk, Americana, and improvisation into an immersive and communal live experience.
