I have so much gratitude for you sharing this because I thought I was the only one!! We moved states away from a place where we had rock solid community to a place where we knew legit no one. We bought a house and the day we moved in I had the biggest pit in my stomach. My body knew. I had the hardest year and a half of mg life in that house. Severe depression and loneliness. We ended up selling our house for no profit and moving somewhere else. Why did we move there in the first place? I don’t know.

As the flowers find their names
I'm taking a deep breath with you. You know I've followed along as an observer and a student of yours for years. Everything you have transparently discovered about yourself as you teach, chosen to share in your newsletter down the road, and the things you will never share... it all equals to the same Mar who leaves me feeling related to just the same. You and I have a lot of differences when you look at our lives from the outside, but I somehow don't feel much of a gap in who we are as humans.
As the flowers find their names
In the summer heat it feels as though my brain is cooked in cough syrup. Like it is just soaking in there and the thoughts can’t come through to the top. Like the haze of the Canadian wildfires, it fills the sky and dissipates, only to come back again casting a strange glow upon the water. Something in me is shifting, yet it persists.

Week Six : Recovering a Sense of Abundance
Dear Artists, It’s week six! Our half way point! I look forward to seeing some of you this Sunday July 30 at 9am PST / 12pm EST at our Artist Way meet up. Think of it as a 12 step meeting style where we’ll share for 2-3 minutes our findings and have some time to write about what has been coming up for us! The zoom link to the meet up is at the bottom of this email.

The plants become themselves
At my house I am surrounded by the plants that came before me and the plants that were already there. Those are two different ways to say - the plants that someone planted or the plants that came with the formation of Earth. I am planting my own seeds too close together and without enough knowing. I pull the weeds as if to say - hello I see you all and I promise I’ll make room for you to appear. I write today after sleeping seventeen hours. A place of uncertainty but of great rest.
