WordCamp US 2023 Recap: BlackPress
Another WCUS 2023 is in the books. The best and brightest came from around the world to showcase their expertise, insight, and provide valuable training all centered around WordPress. During this WordCamp, an incredible group comprising the BlackPress collective – Destiny Fox Kanno, Ray Mitchell, Maestro Stevens, and myself – gave a panel presentation about who we are and our vision for the Black Experience in WordPress.
WordCamp Rochester has been announced!
We’re thrilled to announce that WordCamp Rochester 2023 has been officially scheduled! On September 30, 2023, WordPress users from around the region will gather at the Rochester School of the Arts, located at 45 Prince St, Rochester, NY 14607, for a day filled with knowledge sharing, networking, and community building. The venue for this year’s WordCamp, the Rochester School of the Arts (SOTA), is located within the beautiful art district of Rochester.
Yikes! Are WordPress Malware Scanners Worthless?
Security is scary at times, isn’t it? A few months ago we went through Patchstack’s State of the WordPress Security report and discussed where the WordPress community was in terms of security. There was a discussion of what we all were succeeding at and information on what we could do better. WordCamp Asia has announced their 2024 dates!
WordCamp Asia 2023 was a phenomenal conference! I was lucky enough to attend and write about my experience, now it is with extreme pleasure that I announce the dates for 2024’s conference have been finalized! WordCamp Asia 2024 will take place in Taipei, Taiwan from March 7th – March 9th, 2024. The event will be hosted at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC). The Venue The TICC is a 5 story building in an amazing location.
