Metallica have added another song to their Sphere set lists. Saturday night was the group's fourth show at the high-tech Las Vegas venue. They performed the Load single "Until It Sleeps" for the first time, replacing "King Nothing" from the previous week's second show. You can watch fan-shot video of the performance below. The band used the groundbreaking visual capabilities of the Sphere to make it look like the controversial Load blood and semen cover art was floating all over the venue.

Journey returned to full power in San Antonio, Texas, last night (Oct. 10) with Deen Castronovo behind the drumkit once again. "He crushed last night," guitarist Neal Schon raved in the comments section of an early Sunday morning Facebook post. "Deen was back in rare form," the guitarist added on X. Castronovo suffered an unexplained medical emergency two songs into the band’s show in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday (Oct. 8) and was taken to hospital.

On Friday night, Sammy Hagar played the first of three Cabo Birthday Bash shows at the Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Hagar's set started out heavy on Montrose songs, and he included just three Van Halen numbers: "Best of Both Worlds," "Top of the World" and "Poundcake." BEAT kicked off a tour on Friday night that saw the debut of a new drummer: Terry Bozzio. Bozzio is best known for his work with Frank Zappa, though he's also worked with the likes of Andy Taylor from Duran Duran, Robbie Robertson from the Band, Gary Wright, Herbie Hancock and more.
