The military men and women who risk their lives to protect our freedom deserve nothing short of a seamless reintegration into civilian life after their time in the service has come to an end. Unfortunately, readjusting to civilian life often poses challenges to our military heroes. In the 10 years following 9/11, 44% of veterans returning home struggled to adjust to civilian life.

With a name as powerful as that, we knew the mission would speak to us… and boy, were we right. The Fight Oar Die group is made up of four veterans from various Army backgrounds, ranging from Infantry Paratroopers, US Army Rangers and US Special Forces. These men are still fighting for freedom – just in a different way. In late 2017, they made it their goal to be the first-ever all U.S. veteran rowing team to race across the Atlantic Ocean as part of the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge.

Mercury One along with numerous corporate partners supported the efforts of the nonprofit organization DeliverFund on the ground in Houston. The collective efforts resourced Houston law enforcement agents with actionable information leading them to human traffickers and their victims. The process of hunting down traffickers, making the arrest and freeing their victims does not happen quickly.

Mercury One is proud to partner with Team Rubicon and their disaster relief initiatives. Team Rubicon unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams to disaster sites. While it is not a requirement to have served in the military, many of Team Rubicon’s gray shirt volunteers are veterans. You, our donors, have always responded to assist those suffering from natural disasters. You have supported veterans with fervor.

One of Mercury One’s pillars of service is service to our community while encouraging you to do the same in your own communities. It is from this pillar that we forged a relationship with Hope’s Door  New Beginning Center – a North Texas-based organization supporting victims of domestic and sexual violence.

Save the Persecuted Christians is a grassroots movement to save lives and souls by educating the public on anti-Christian violence. Save the Persecuted Christians is not afraid to expose the “hard-facts” surrounding anti-Christian violence in countries worldwide. They get help in supporting those harmed for their faith in Jesus, holding those responsible accountable, and securing significant penalties on state and non-state persecutors.
