Nearing the end of their 37-city tour, fans were more than primed on what to expect from the three metal bands performing on this summer night in St. Louis, and they were pumped from the get-go.

Two-thirds of the way through their spring concert tour, the now Nashville-based indie folk/rock band made their way through St. Louis Wednesday night, docking at Old Rock House. Their carefree sound netted mainly Gen Zers, with a few Millennials and Gen Xers tossed in for good measure on this beautiful early summer night.

And just like nearly every other time what I expected was blown away with what I saw live.

I did not realize that this show had such an avid fan base until the show began. As soon as the very charismatic Hermes (Rudy Foster) stepped on stage to begin his narration, the audience exploded into thunderous prolonged applause.
