New Break Resources (CSE:NBRK) has resumed drilling at its Moray Gold Project in Ontario as part of a planned 10,000m program for 2026. The company has engaged Enviro North Exploration for the current phase, comprising approximately 2,500m across a minimum of 11 holes. Moray sits 49km south of Timmins and 32km northwest of Alamos Gold's ( TSX:AGI) Young-Davidson mine. Earlier this year, New Break completed 3,376m across 22 holes, with 20 targeting the Zavitz gold zone.
Ecora Royalties (TSX:ECOR) has updated the Phalaborwa Rare Earths Project Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) being conducted by Rainbow Rare Earths ( LSE:RBW). The company holds a 0.85% gross revenue royalty on the Phalaborwa project, which increases to 1.10% if commercial production does not occur before 1 July 2028. Rainbow's pilot plant has operated successfully in H1 2026, with data recovered feeding into the process design for the DFS.
Riversgold (ASX:RGL) has received a 21-year mining lease for its Northern Zone Gold Project, meeting a key milestone for its funding partnership with Mega Resources. The renewable lease covers the Northern Zone, which forms part of the Kalgoorlie Gold Project located 25km east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The grant satisfies a significant condition precedent in the company's agreement with Mega Resources, originally announced in September 2025.
