Two fire crews were called to a blaze early this morning in a two‑storey terraced property being used as a house of multiple occupation (HMO). The firefighters, from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue’s Broughton station used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire on the first-floor area of the property, in Fishermead. “One adult was assisted from the building by rescuers, and welfare checks were completed,” said a fire service spokesperson.
