Olivier Rousteing Is Rabanne’s New Creative Director After months of speculation, Rabanne has confirmed Olivier Rousteing as its new creative director, ending a period of transition at the house that began when Julien Dossena stepped down after 13 years. Rousteing, who spent 14 years at Balmain before departing last November, will present his first pre-fall collection for the house in November 2026, followed by his debut runway show at Paris Fashion Week in March 2027.

Marie Adam-Leenaerdt Wins the 2026 ANDAM Grand Prize Belgian designer Marie Adam-Leenaerdt was named the winner of the 2026 ANDAM Grand Prize at a ceremony in the gardens of the Palais-Royal on July 1, taking home 300,000 euros and a year of mentorship from jury president Alexandre Mattiussi of AMI. A Brussels-born graduate of La Cambre Mode(s) who trained at Givenchy and Balenciaga before launching her label in 2023.

Melding modernity, uniformity, and innovation, collections from her eponymous label appear as time capsules from an alternate reality.

Amid a sweltering Paris heatwave, Jonathan Anderson unveiled his S/S 27 collection for Dior Men at the Musée Nissim de Camondo. Centered on the idea of an aristocrat after a long night out, the collection evoked the world of Saltburn without feeling overtly referential, through its relaxed tailoring, rumpled layers, and effortless confidence. Casting director Ashley Brokaw entrusted both the opening and closing of the show to new face Orlando Spence.

I always felt a bit outside of things growing up.

Carven Taps Kai Nesselrath as Design Director Carven has confirmed Kai Raffael Nesselrath as its new design director, following a WWD report in April that the Paris-based house was set to bring him over from Saint Laurent’s studio. Italian-born and of German descent, Nesselrath studied at Polimoda, the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, and took courses at Central Saint Martins before a short stint at Chanel and then nearly a decade at Saint Laurent, where he rose to womenswear head designer.
