Missouri Farm Bureau
Online/Digital
We are a membership-based organization, and we pride ourselves on amplifying the voices of Missouri farmers. We represent our members at the legislatures in Jefferson City and Washington, D.C., as well as through involvement with state and federal regulatory agencies.
Founded in 1915, Missouri was the first state Farm Bureau in America, and it remains one of the strongest. With over 143,000 member families across the state of Missouri, no organization has a deeper grassroots base. Every one of Missouri’s 114 counties has a local Farm Bureau organization and at least one local Farm Bureau office.
Our network of volunteer leaders actively advocates for policy changes, ballot initiatives, and political candidates to make Missouri more friendly to its #1 industry, agriculture. Our annual meeting at the Lake of the Ozarks draws over 1,000 attendees to debate and adopt policy, hear from national expert speakers, and spend time with likeminded friends.
All Missouri Farm Bureau policies are written and voted upon by grassroots volunteer members, not paid staff. Our legislative team then works throughout the year advocating on behalf of our members to implement these policies.
We have over 100 years of history advocating for Missourians, but we still believe Missouri’s future is brighter than ever. Source

But something happened recently, and I’ve found myself thinking that maybe we all need a little more time. Recently, I was helping my dad move equipment between our farms along a quarter-mile stretch of highway.
Missouri’s Constitution should belong to Missourians
On Aug. 4, Missouri voters will have an important opportunity to protect something fundamental: the future of our Constitution and the voice of rural Missouri. That is why I encourage voters across our state to support Amendment 4.
