After a disastrous off-season where the Mets front office let fan favorites Pete Alonso and Edwin Diaz walk, then panicked and signed a shortstop to play third base,traded for an old statue to play second base, then signed a second baseman to play first base, New York now predictably finds itself 16 games under .500 at 41-57, in last place in their division.

If you haven’t seen the announcement in our chats: there will be no Zoom today. We will zoom tomorrow (Sunday, June 28th) at 2 PM PT (after Canada vs. South Africa’s knockout game in the World Cup). See you then! It is not easy being an Angels fan right now. The team hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2014—the longest drought in MLB.
